Reade’s career in the Thoroughbred Industry began in 1965 at Fort Erie where was a groom at the summer meet. He eventually became a jockey agent through the mid 1970’s and Racing Manager for Richard R. Kennedy by 1985 where Reade managed the career of Champion Afleet. In 1989 Reade began his notable career as a trainer and breeder from 1989 to 2018.
Reade is based in Toronto and frequently visits all of the major markets and has extensive industry contacts.
