Reade has been breeding and showing chickens and ducks for more than 20 years.
He shows the birds at various fairs and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November, in Toronto is the highlight of the year. In addition to winning Grand Champion at the RAWF with his birds a number of times, Reade has been recognized by the American Poultry Association APA for breeding award winning birds.
